“In terms of our intentions and our attitude, it’s the best match we’ve played. The first goal was really hard to take, although we defended it really badly. On the second goal, we were just very unlucky. Personally, I’m disappointed with the result although I’m very satisfied with my team’s display. We had chances, we showed desire, we tried to play forwards with plenty of running and variety in our play. We scored two goals, which hasn’t happened since we played against Rosenborg. We made it difficult for Tottenham in either half. When we play as a team, we’re more likely to perform well. The positives are that we’ve rediscovered a proper team that has heart, with fans that really helped us a lot. We started the game shakily but they were always right behind us. It helped the players’ confidence. But we’d only be fully satisfied if we’d picked up the extra two points.”
