Roddy Cons

English tuition

I’ve spent over a decade teaching English is some of Madrid’s leading language schools and also offer private online classes to adult learners with different profiles, from business executives who work in English every day to university graduates looking to boost their English in the hope of finding a job to retirees who’d like to make travelling abroad that little bit easier!

how?

It’s been clear to me since very early on in my teaching career that a lot of learners – especially in Spain – know English grammatical theory better than plenty of native English speakers do!

But they rarely have the opportunity to put it into practice, which is the most difficult thing to master.

Speak. Make mistakes. Learn from them. Find alternative and better ways to say what you want to say. It’s my job to point out your errors and ways for you to improve, both in and out of class.

For all the different types of classes I’ve taught, the communicative method is my preferred way of tutoring and is the one I find gets the best results. Make learning English fun.

what?

where?

In your living room. In your study. In your holiday home. In your office.

Since 2018, I’ve focused exclusively on online tuition, meaning you can perfect your English from the comfort of your own home or when you need a break from work.
