vlog - the team on tour

The team on tour - check it out on youtube!

The Team On Tour started by accident, if I’m being totally honest. An idea that came to my mind on the plane as I was on the way to a family holiday which would become an exciting new addition to my weekly routine. What football fan doesn’t love visiting new grounds, learning about new teams and hearing new stories?

I set myself the goal of teaching you at least one thing you didn’t know in each video. Many are exclusively football-related, although I’ve been lucky enough to visit some incredible parts of the world on my groundhopping journey, so there’s also some tourism and culture thrown in from time to time.

spain - madrid and surroundings

53 videos from 39 different grounds around Madrid. From Real Madrid and Atleti to lower-league clubs that you never knew you needed to discover. Madrid has become the world’s football capital in the last few years and everything you need to know about its groundhopping scene is in here.

Spain - away from the capital

Barcelona. Toledo. Segovia. La Granja. Mallorca. There are some incredible places – and incredible games – in this playlist.

I’ll say no more. Just watch them.

france - the venice of the alps & 2019 fifa women's world cup

Most people have never heard of Annecy. But they really should’ve done. And not because it’s the place where The Team On Tour was born. Here are a couple of videos from one of the world’s relatively hidden gems – a place that I’m lucky to call a second (or maybe) third home – along with my World Cup debut in Paris!

Scotland - a taste of home

No trip home is complete without a game of football. Scotland’s best derby is in here, plus the most famous hedge in European football.

top videos

Stunning towns. Picturesque cities. Entertaining games. Fantastic grounds. Great atmospheres. Special clubs.

Some videos have become favourites of mine over the years, for one reason or another. Here they are all in one place.
